100 Women Who Care Norfolk donate $16,600 to the

H-N Literacy Council

On November 14, 2018, 100 Women Who Care Norfolk selected the Haldimand-Norfolk Literacy Council as the recipient of $16,600.  This money will stay in Norfolk County and will purchase new books, update computer software and buy other learning tools to support this program.    One of the students who came to the program in his mid 40's and not able to read & write, says, "reading & writing is magic"....something many of us take for granted!

This brings the total donations since May 2014 to just under $300,000...supporting 19 local charities.
